A Storybook of Scripture

On May 21, 2021, my Pastor (Overseer Thomas A. Pulliam, Sr.) was my special guest for the 100th episode of the Titus II Show. He is a blessing to the Titus II Family as he brings a strong word of wisdom and encouragement that is steeped in God’s word and his experiences. For this particular episode, I was honored to interview him. Why would I interview my Pastor for the 100th episode of a show that I host?

There’s a simple answer to that…

If it were not for God putting in his heart to declare the existence of The Titus II Show, I would not have the show to host.

Now, this blog post is not about how The Titus II Show started, but rather something that my Pastor said while on this 100th episode.

What did he say?

He stated, “I made the word practical in every area of my life. So, I learned how to take the word and have the word as a storybook to my process”.

When I heard it, I got excited! Think about it, is your life a storybook of scripture?

What does it mean for your life to be a storybook of scripture?

As he continued, Overseer Pulliam went on to elaborate on how the word is made practical in every area of his life.

For every pain, there’s a word.

For every struggle, there’s a word.

For every success, there’s a word.

For every victory, there’s a word.

For every elevation, there’s a word.

For every blessing, there’s a word.

For every trial, there’s a word.

For every temptation, there’s a word.

For every hurt, there’s a word.

For every rebuke, there’s a word.

For every expansion, there’s a word.

For every downsize, there’s a word.

How encouraging is that?

What Does Your Storybook Say?

Let me ask you something. Do you take the word of God and apply it to your life? Do you make it practical to every area of your life? Do you view the scriptures as reminders of what God has done for you?

What promises of God that are found in the scriptures do you hold dear to your heart?

In essence, what does your storybook look like?

Share your storybooks of scripture in the comments below. If you haven’t made God’s word practical to every area of your life, I strongly encourage you to take some time to do so. Take time to look over your life and look at situations, circumstances, elevations, demotions, life changes and so forth and find scriptures that go along with those areas.

Let the Word of God write your beautiful story of victory over the enemy! Let your life be a storybook of scripture!
