Covid-19 Impact on Businesses?
It comes as no surprise that many businesses have had to make some adjustments during this time of dealing with the Coronavirus or Covid-19.
As an event planner/manager, I have had to make some adjustments myself. It’s my job to plan, promote and produce events that bring people together. These events are in-person gatherings and of course there is a great desire to have many people attend the events.
I’ve considered virtual events, but it seemed a bit challenging hosting a virtual basketball tournament! Some events had to be put on hold, of course. Other events can still go forward but with some adherence to such things as social distancing and wearing masks and such.
One thing is certain, with event planning, God still knows the perfect timing, details and strategies for all events. I have definitely had to seek God’s will for direction and He has led the way with clarity.
So for those of you who are business owners, share in the comments below how Covid-19 has impacted your business. What changes have you had to make during this time?
I don’t have a personal business (yet), but COVID-19 did impact the momentum I was gaining in building out my blog. Sounds like you’ve been able to successfully pivot and make do during this time. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Rashida,
Thank you for your comment. Even with having to make some adjustments to our events, I’ve had time to fine tune details about my business and have discussions with my Pastor about vision. That has helped shape event planning for the rest of the year and even going into next year.
Keep up the great work with your blog and if you need any business resources let me know, I’d be glad to connect you with one of our partners!
I don’t have my business either but it sounds like it is a definite task to handle. That seems like it is probably a double task added on to the much work load a business owner has already. But Like Joy Ellerbe posted the more better God will show His glory and provide a way. Keep trusting God business owners.
