Don’t Get Darted!
“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked”- Ephesians 6:16, KJV
I remember sitting in church some months ago, listening to my Pastor preach on the whole armor of God. He got to Ephesians 6:16 and told the congregation, “DART!”. That was the signal that the enemy was at work in some way to steal, to kill and to destroy your faith.
As usual, I saw a way to put feet to the “DART” vision! I purchased a blank sound button and recorded myself saying “DART!”, put the word on the button in white letters and the “DART” button was made!
Truthfully, it is a constant reminder that you have to be diligent to put on not only the shield of faith, but the entire armor of God. It’s not a fun feeling to get darted. Getting darted means, you gave in to the wiles of the devil. Basically, you said he won, and you lost that round.
It takes faith to believe you can stay ahead of the enemy and not be ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11, KJV). Even in the practice of journaling your daily experience, it takes faith to believe that writing down the moments you got darted will help you become more aware of the ways the enemy comes against you.
So, muster up all the faith you have and put on the whole armor of God so that you can quench those fiery darts of the wicked! That’s your authority! Don’t get DARTED!

Holy Ghost is a good dart button for me He be loud in my ear ” Dart, Dart,Dart! Don’t do that!” ” Dart, Dart Dart!! Don’t say that!” “Dart, Dart, Dart! Don’t think that. Dart, Dart, Dart!” I like my Holy Ghost Dart warning. It helps me to not react to the enemy by stopping myself first.
Yes, absolutely! The Holy Ghost gives powerful “DART” warnings. We just have to be sure we adhere to the warning, Thanks for sharing!
I have been darted so many times but I rebuke the devil in the name of Jesus. I then pray and remember who my God is. Thanks for sharing and reminding us that we must be always watchful and have on the full armor.
Hi Sabrina! Thanks for sharing. Absolutely, we must rebuke the devil in the name of Jesus and always pray. The best part is that God always provides a way to escape!
We a clever Idea! And such a powerful message and reminder, we must always put on the full armor of God! Thanks for sharing.

I need a DART button! I love studying the Armor of God, and this is a great and practical approach to apply it in our lives. When I recognize the enemy trying to work in my life, I always stop to pray because I know Jesus will win the battle for me!
Hey Kristina! I’d be more than happy to make you one if you want! I enjoyed making this DART button. We actually used it in a puppet show we did at church for the children! And with this button, it’s voice recorded so you press it and hear “DART! DART! DART!” It’s great.
It’s a great reminder that we must not be ignorant of the devil’s devices! We must not get DARTED!
